Crazy Samurai roll and shrimp tempura are delicious!
I've been going here for a while now, I'm happy that they have expanded their menu a bit. The place as you enter is nice and modern looking. I love the display of various sake bottles. We were greeted and seated right away upon entering. We ordered: 1. Calamari- Crispy and lightly fried. Not overly battered or greasy. Nice way to start our meal. 2. Gyoza - This is one of my usual go-to's. It's simple and lightly fried. Perfect size to just pop in your mouth. Something about it just hits the spot. 3. Cold sake - It was a cold and rainy day, but for some reason, it hit the spot. It came in the cutest yet stylish bottle, where the ice to keep it chilled was right in the middle. I'm curious to see if next time they have something a little smoother. 4. Gekikara roll - This had a lot of flavor, and everything just complimented each other perfectly. 5. Tonkatsu bento box - For this one, I ordered the one that came with vegetable tempura and california rolls. Everything was amazing. Portions were perfect. I actually didn't finish it all and took the rest home. 6. Banana tempura with ice cream - I was a little disappointed with this. I expected the banana to be crispier. It was soggy and greasy. Ice cream was good. We got it with green tea ice cream. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back and try the udon and other items. Service wasn't bad. I totally understand since it was so busy, and only one server. That follow-up wasn't the best
My recent visit to Tokyo Sushi & Bar left me with mixed feelings. While the overall experience was okay, it fell short of some expectations. The ambiance of the restaurant is comfortable, with a modern aesthetic and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was prompt in seating us, and the menu offered a decent variety of sushi and Japanese dishes. We started with a mixed sushi platter, and the presentation was visually appealing. The sushi, however, lacked the exceptional freshness and flavor that I've come to expect from sushi establishments. The fish seemed a bit ordinary, and the rice was a tad too dense for my liking. While it wasn't bad, it didn't stand out either. The service was courteous but somewhat slow. It took a while for our orders to arrive, and we found ourselves waiting longer than anticipated. The servers were friendly when approached, but there seemed to be a lack of attentiveness throughout the meal.
The menu is full of great dishes such as ramen soups, bento box combos, appetizers and of course their fabulous sushi menu. Great service and atmosphere. Also they offer happy hour. Wheelchair accessibility: Little tight but can accommodate.
Party of three - we got Walu Sashimi, Romeo and Juliet roll, Hamachi Lover roll, and Chirashi and two other rolls. Our selection was pretty good. The staff was really friendly
Fast service food came out fast and thr food was delicious!
