The ribs and beef taco with melted. The hype is not worth it. Period. No unity in anything besides complaining that they are not weak and no one wants to work. The prices are not worth it either.

Amazingly delicious food. Trendy Downtown restaurant for families. Large alcohol menu. Great for dates, families, or a casual get together. Outside dining is awesome.

This place is a Denver gem! My mom and I went here visiting Denver and we’re not disappointed by the staff, food, and information we received while enjoying our meal. Our server was the assistant manager, Bre who informed us of the history of the restaurant, owner, and the items on the menu. The Fry Bread taco with braised bison was so good!! Flavorful, tender, and delicious. The fry bread nuggets with powdered sugar are like an addiction. I kept eating them! Like warm beignets bites. Absolutely Heaven. The restaurant is reminiscent of a Chipotle in restaurant style. However, it is so much more than that with the personal touch of family history and passion that cannot be recreated. When we go back to Denver this is absolutely going to be one of our first (and last) stops! Thank you again Bree for all you give to the restaurant and customers like us!

The best fry bread you'll ever have. We had the grilled chicken fry bread with mouth watering hominy as a topper. Grilled chicken Posu bowl with black beans and red quinoa/wheatberry. Also treated ourselves to fry bread nuggets; crispy on the outside and tender inside. Now I want to go there after writing all this.

This place is set up like a CAVA or Chipotle style serving. The Native American style of food is different but very good. The choice of beef or bison was different for me but I chose the bison and I liked it. I know I will come back again. Vegetarian options: There are a variation of seasoned beans and corn that can be used in place of any meat option there. All of the seasoned beans and corn were delicious.

I love to recommend Tocabe for two reasons: 1. The mission. This is one of the few American Indian owned and operated restaurants in the country specializing in Native cuisine. They have a "Native first, local second" philosophy where all ingredients are sourced from Native businesses where possible. If you go to their website, you can buy these ingredients yourself too in their Indigenous marketplace. Amazing concept run by amazing people. 2. The food. It's very good. Fast casual style, like a Chipotle. They offer Indian tacos and build your own bowls, plus buffalo ribs and soup. I like the bowls. Some of the topping choices include quinoa, wild rice, bison, beef, various beans, corn, lettuce, hominy, green chile, cheese, sour cream, chipotle sauce. If you get a taco, I recommend asking for the fry bread on the side so it doesn't get soggy. The fry bread by the way is very good -- a heavy, fried simple flat bread. There is also a berry jam that can be added to your dish or eaten on the side with the fry bread. Regardless of what you choose, the ingredients are fresh and delicious. If you're in Denver, try it. Tocabe deserves all the praise they get! Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian main option (mix of different beans) which can be combined with several vegetarian-friendly toppings (grains, corn, chiles). Dietary restrictions: Customizable, "choose your own" concept. Parking: There is a small lot next to the building (maybe 10 spots), plus street parking. I personally have never had an issue with parking here. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has a wide entrance, ordering area, and restrooms. There is flexible seating with room for a wheelchair. No stairs.
