Staff was very accommodating. Upon being seated our waiter asked if we had any allergies. All our food was delicious. We had the asada, enchiladas, French toast, chicken & waffles and the egg omelet. The vibe is upbeat and upper class end. The drinks we had the Guava, Watermelon & the Vodka Sorbet was my favorite. Deff 20 out of 10. The only thing is parking is not the best. Shops center will tow you. Metered parking but only takes an hr at a time so you have to keep feeding the meter. Or pay parking structure...
Delicious Mexican food, inspired cocktails, party vibe but well suited for a date night, with excellent service (quickly served, well suggested), at a decent price. Had a live fire dance show, and even a free dessert for our anniversary. One of our best experiences in LA.
A bit overpriced, but pretty good. I wasn't blown away, but the steak and tacos were very good. Salsa is ok. Skip the guac.
Exquisite Mexican restaurant with club vibes.
READ* Absolute worst experience encountered. We did have a reservation for a birthday, but modified it earlier in the day to add an extra person, and they said it was not a problem. Amongst making the 3 hour drive, we got there, and they kept extending our wait time when there shouldn't have been any to begin with due to our reservation, and finally said it is a ridiculous two hour wait. The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude, including the manager. One person in our party even had medical conditions, and they absolutely brushed it off. They were more focused on the amount of people coming into the restaurant, instead of the quality of satisfaction per customer. One of the hostess even left her spot and followed me to my table, and raised her voice at me, just because I put two tables together to fit our party, even one of the waitresses said it's OK to do so. Their staff needs extreme training, hopefully one day by a much better and professional manager. I had very high hopes coming into this restaurant, but at the end, my whole entire party just stood up and left. We went to a neighboring restaurant and had the most spectacular experience. The restaurant is also extremely unnecessarily crowded, very loud, and suffocating. With such ridiculous service, it's amazing how they are still open with their ridiculous prices. Ambience isn't very nice either. Hope the higher management can see this and consider a minimal apology for what happened to our party on March 16. What should have been a beautiful birthday turned into something extremely bitter, which is so sad.
I'm in LA for an appointment and found this restaurant on Google Maps. I loved it -- the food was delicious and creative, my cocktail was amazing, the service was attentive, and they didn't mind that I reserved a table for one. It's on the festive/loud side, but I enjoyed the vibe and the music. Everyone seemed happy.
My wife and I enjoy exploring new restaurants in L.A., and discovered Toca in a random Google search. Every aspect of our experience was OUTSTANDING!
Very nice place and good food, I like the atmosphere and sometimes they have a DJ. The only downside is on busy days you have wait alot EVEN if you have a reservation which is a poor management, last time we had to just stand at the bar (we couldn’t seat bc even bar was full) for 40 min to get our table.
