Service is always excellent and super friendly. Food is good and reasonably priced. Vegan options are fine but they could be more clear and have more starter options and list of either traces that are actually fine, like soups. Also vegetarian gravy is apparently not vegan? But in most cases it usually is, so some clarity on this.

I love Toby carvery, best place for a reliable hearty meal for a reasonable price The staff here are always lovely and helpful I was slightly disappointed at my latest visit, since we paid for the refillable soft drink. When we went back for a second glass they had turned the machine off, and this was only at half 8. We didn't bring this up to the staff at the time but it was disappointing to pay for something and then it not be available

Food was lovely and portions were generous. The staff were very friendly and as usual the meal was good value for money. We did however try to adjust our booking online and over the phone, but no-one picked up the phone but replied to my message. As for booking online, the website says that there were no places in the restaurant within two hours of outer booking, but when we arrived the restaurant was empty and continued to be very quiet all evening. Is there something wrong with your booking system?? It would put us off booking again especially if no-one answers the phone and you can't get booked in online.
