Nothing went wrong. Great value/price.
Food never disappoints, always fresh ingredients, expertly prepared. The Rib eye was the best I have ever had. The sauce was delicious by itself. The olive cake was a perfect end to a perfect meal.
Just spent a long weekend in Tucson and chose this place as our Saturday night meal, even if it is out of the way a bit from downtown. James Beard nomination tipped the decision towards making the trek. Easy parking and great atmosphere but service was sporadic and so was the food. Few highlights - appetizers, especially broccoli and queso fundido. We should have stopped at appetizers… Low points - getting our drinks after appetizers, even though one of our drinks was a beer. Scallop special had a lot of very little overcooked scallops and not enough acid to offset the richness of the brown butter. Pork chop pretty good, but not enough other things on the plate to go with it. Parking: Generally a good flow of cars in and out to find a spot, even on Saturday night. If not, parking on side streets either before work after restaurant.
Excellent food and reasonable
Charli was a great server!
We had a great meal. Calamari, pork chops, salmon and chocolate ganache dessert. All were delicious and well presented. Service was attentive but the kitchen was a bit slow—perhaps because the place was full on a Saturday night. Downside was the noise level—pretty hard to converse across their wide table. We’ll be back, probably earlier in the evening on a weekday. Prices weren’t out of line. Parking lot is kindof dark. Parking: Dark parking lot, could use additional lighting in the back
