Food took FOREVER to come out.
After dining in, I bought churros to go and the first serving were very burnt. They tasted burned. I went in to get another serving and the churros were half the size they were originally :/
I was not impressed, and I usually don’t have things to complain about. Dirty dishes, a margarita served in a tall glass, wine served in a dirty glass, water served in a dirty glass. This is my first experience here and it did not leave a good impression. The food was okay? I was not really enthused by the food. It seemed low quality for the price. The rice for my fajitas seemed under done, the fajita vegetables were lack luster really only being onion that didn’t have any char. My partner want happy with his food and for us spending almost 70 bucks, I expected better.
Server Jacqeline K was the poorest excuse for a wait person. An attitude of wanting to somewhere else, inability to know the menu (Mahi Tacos are blackened? Replied we do not do that here!), took an order for a Corna beer then Carded a 64 year old and ultimately forgot to bring the beer, appetizers served at same time as dinners and we had to ask bus person to finally get the beer. Our waiter never returned to the table except to bring the bill! One positive is the other staff seemed to cover for this poor excuse of an employee. Tios Mexican Cafe is poorly represented by this employee. Table 43 Check #82 on 2/16/24.
They have delicious food and have specials on different items every day that will save a few bucks like Thursday you get the nachos grande for $10 instead of $14 !! Parking: Their is street parking and a parking garage that is really close !
Walked in around lunchtime. No host, was told to sit where we wanted. Wait staff did not seem too happy about that. Food was absolutely disgusting. Think of wet newspaper, rolled in Taco Bell meat. Instant stomachache. Not a fun time!! Would definitely not go back.
Had an appointment I. Ann Arbor had a enjoyable dinner before.
I Loved Every Moment there. Gonna Tell everyone I know.
