The lack of urgency is alarming. Expect a long wait just to order let alone the coffee even if it’s not busy. If you don’t care to wait a long time, the coffee and the food is good.

BE AWARE OF A REDISH HAIR SERVER!!! This place is the nicest place in coral gables, the food is phenomenal always, but this a good example that a bad service and bad staff can completely destroy and ruin an establishment like this one. We went for a quick meeting with some clients around 3:45pm; we sat down and the server-guy w glasses) great service btw, he helped us taking our order, he was very attentive and hospitable. When 15min later we started our conversation and we opened a iPod to see some notes and the red hair server lady came with the worst and disrespectful attitude and she said “do me a favor, you have to close the iPod now because we not allowing computers here, read the note in the table” and she walked away. Our clients just laughed; (they’re older and one of them with a walker), so at 5:05 she came back again to our table and with the same attitude and rolling her eyes she said “well, it’s 5:05, we’re close” so my partner asked her, can we sit outside because he can walk!, and she said “nope, I have to pick tables and chairs, but you can stay outside in the corner” this lady has no clue about what customer service is neither the meaning of HOSPITALITY… the worst experience ever, she will make you feel so bad and uncomfortable.

Beautiful atmosphere, very friendly and excellent food. Delicious coffee. Our first time and we have found a refuge for friends and lovers of bohemianism and reading. Thank you so much
