Great little quaint place if you want some comfort Chinese food. I stopped by on my way back to DC and it did not disappoint! I went to another Chinese restaurant the day before and I wish I came here instead! Food reminds me of nyc/home. Wontons were a good size, plump with a nice bite to it. Duck was really good and if you are craving shrimp rice rolls, you would have to verbally order it since it is not on the menu. Lady servers were nice. Loved everything so much I ordered food to go for me to bring back to DC. I will be definitely be back when I come back to Philly.
Service was really good and the wait staff was very nice. However the food was cold for dine in, not even room temperature and the rice was hard. Prices dont seem bad but small portions of meat and they tried to hide it with a lot of rice.
Standard beef chow fun, excellent rice rolls/cheung fun. The fresh shrimp rice roll was particularly good. The rice rolls had a better texture (we’ve never been fridged) than the chow fun even though they’re both basically flat rice noodles. Ambience is busy neighbourhood joint with mostly locals, doing majority takeout orders.
Food is expensive and service is bad.
Fast service, excellent food. Not your typical Chinese restaurant in either food or menu. Try the Ting Wong hot pot, that Chicken anchovy fried rice, any of the soup or noodle dishes (recommend Mai Fun -- rice noodles) over lo mein. Enjoy! After COVID they're finally open for dine-in. Don't overlook the duck soup!
Food is OUTSTANDING! The dining area was closed during Covid, but it has reopened. Best Chinese food in Chinatown! Been coming here for a number of years and I never experienced an issue.
