Timberline Steaks & Grille

Eggs-perfect, potatoes-good, steak- disappointing, so disappointing. Good, strong coffee. Great view.

Like everyone else traveling through the Denver Airport I noticed the restaurant. I was traveling by myself. The hostess ask me if I wanted a table or bar seat. I chose a table which she stated was a 10 minute wait. After 20 minutes of waiting and I noticed other people were seated that checked in after me I asked the hostess if she forgot about me. The hostess said that I was one person and it’s more profitable for the restaurant to seat more than one person and that I would have to wait. I told her I need to catch another flight like everyone else. Basically she said too bad I can sit at the bar because I’m one person. TO THE DENVER AIRPORT: PLEASE DO NOT RENEW THIS RESTAURANT’s CONTRACT. THEY DON’ T DESERVE THE PRIVILEGE OF REPRESENTING THE DENVER AIRPORT.

Service is exceptional! The hosts, server Madyson & and bartender, were amazing! My burger came out raw (cold red center). Unfortunately, this is a sign of the employment times. A meat cook should know how to cook meat, but the Denver labor market is terrible! Never saw a manager

Don't follow what is listed online concerning the menu! it all changed and prices up 30 percent.

For a place to sit and eat in the Denver airport this is pretty good. My burger and fries were good. The loaded nachos were too. Service was spotty as they were quite busy.

Service was good but the burger was stale. Bun, meat, bacon, everything. Got a side of Bleu cheese to see if it would help but it had some unidentifiable things in it so I passed on that as well.

It was a Tuesday and I was 8n Southern California during the atmospheric rivers that flooded the state. I was desparately trying to fly back to Wisconsin for family birthdays. I was detoured from Las Vegas to Denver, where I had a 5 AM departure. I decided to stay at the airport so I would not miss the flight. I was tired, discouraged and hangry as I searched for a place to eat. I came upon Timberline Steaks about 1/2 before closing. Sean, Neto and Leah greeted me with a smile, not that "oh no, it is right before closing stare" that you usually get under the circumstances. I asked for recommendations and placed my order. And their suggestions were spot on. The food was hot and was delicious. They made sure that my glass was filled and did not hustle me out the door. I watched as they cleaned up the bar and it was spit shined and polished. The bottles were beautifully displayed, and the counters and bar top shined. When I left, the place was clean, well presented and appealing. All in all, the exerience was exactly what I needed. They were friendly but not intrusive, and I left this restaurant better prepared to sleep in the most uncomfortable chairs this side of the Mississippi. Well done, Sean, Neto and Leah!
