This is by far my favorite place in downtown RWC. Great cocktails, food, service, and ambience. It honestly doesn't get much better than this.

Came here for date night on friday night while waiting for an event at the Fox theatre. The tables were fully booked (no rsvp), so we waited for the bar seating to open up. Our bartender was very friendly and accommodating. We shared all of our dishes, and they were very flavorful and presented well. The seabass was by far my favorite, but the ahi tuna and Brussel sprouts we great also. A large selection of spirits was available. Highly recommended

I didn't really know what to expect when we booked a table there and was pleasantly surprised by the food. The scallops and pork bao were great starters and my table shared the tomahawk steak. It was cooked perfectly- a nice crust and a perfect medium rare with the fat rendered, tender and juicy. I'll definitely be going back.

FABULOUS place!! Came here for a date night and was super impressed with everything. Great service, wonderful food, fun and cozy atmosphere, abundant choice of cocktails. We are DEFINITELY coming back and bringing our friends with us.

Service at Timber & Salt was exemplary. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing insightful recommendations and accommodating dietary preferences.

Really quality meat cooked exactly as I like it (I routinely make myself Filet, rare-ish with blue cheese melted on top and since they probably have a better meat source I liked it as much as my version High prices, but all things considered, not that high for a quality and expensive piece of meat. Sea Bass was great also... I believe it's the antarctic tooth fish known as Chilean Sea Bass based on the size of the chunk and taste, very rich and flaky, healthy veggies to go with.

Excellent restaurant- food was amazing and service was stellar! Our only “complaint” if you can even call it that was the great music they were playing was coming from a tiny speaker by the bar and sounded like it. Highly recommend this restaurant! We were there for a holiday celebration with a group so we tried over half the appetizers, & all of the sides- all very good. The Brussels sprouts were a favorite. The salmon & sea bass received rave reviews & were very nice portions. The rest of us had filet mignon, and growing up in Texas I can truly say it was one of the top 5 steaks I’ve had- perfectly cooked, didn’t need the Demi glacé but it provided another level of flavor. The drinks were all both beautiful & delicious, and the flourless chocolate cake was a strong finish to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend. The service was spectacular as well! Dietary restrictions: One of our group had gluten restrictions and the manager personally helped her determine the best option and she was thrilled with her meal.
