Best Indian food with the kindest staff ever! Love this place and have never ever had a bad experience or food, everything is delicious both vegetarian and meat options!
We ordered two curries and a daal. The dishes were really not tasty and extremely OILY. This is the worst Indian restaurant we've been to.
The food was good, the restaurant was nice, staff good but the bathroom was a bit gross. It was dirty and made me wonder what the kitchen might look like. Vegetarian options: The vegan tofu tika masala was very good but I would have liked some vegetables mixed in as well.
Amazing food. Fantastic, diligent and thoughtful service. Thank you
Okay. Here we go. I'm generally embarrassed leaving a negative review, especially, for a restaurant I have known, loved, and rooted for since pre covid when businesses were struggling due to Forest Hills construction. However, the other night I was treating visiting family members to what is currently billed online as "The Best Indian food in JP." It makes me uncomfortable to be that guy that goes through their entire takeout order in the restaurant to make sure I have everything I paid for. But sure enough, every time I don't, I get home and find out items are missing. I make a call to Tikla Masala who despite the fact that I just gave them a 67 dollar order with a ten dollar tip for takeout and tell them I'm missing an order of Garlic Naan. They tell me I'm mistaken and that I have miscounted my order. Thus, I don't know the difference between one and two pieces of bread. Frustrated, I take the 20 minute walk down there again in 35 degree weather. When I get there, I tell the cashier that I have managed restaurants for 20 years and that the least they could do to compensate me for my time and their error would be offer, at the very least, an additional piece of Naan, he told me that that wasn't his call to make and their was no one available to make that happen. Hospitality is the only thing that distinguishes you from the competition. RESTAURANTS DON'T DIE OVERNIGHT. THEY DIE ONE DAY AT A TIME. Tikka Masala used to be better than that.
Convenient delivery but the food was really not tasty compared to other Indian places. Nothing like Bukhara.
