Employees were very friendly and sweet, but food was disappointing. Won't be returning.
Feels like they really want to be in California. Hipster vibe that just doesn't match with Florida. Slightly above average food.
Tijuana Flats is a casual, walk up and order restaurant that then brings your food to the table. The food was favorable and the portions large. I had plenty to take home for another meal, which I am looking forward to. The staff was tentive, polite, friendly, and efficient. They assist with take home containers and a bag to carry them. We will definitely come back to taste other selections!
Haven’t been in quite a while, a lot has changed and for the worse I fear. At first the service from the gentlemen in glasses was friendly and good. But as soon as we were seated it was a nightmare. Not once did anyone approach to ask if we needed anything or any refills. The food was awful, queso was mildly warm and was more like porridge. The banging chicken quesadilla and burrito that my wife and I ordered tasted like popcorn chicken that was cooked and sat for a while, chewy and rubbery. Not happy with the quality nor service for the almost 40+ dollar order plus tip.
First time at a Tijuana flats. The customer service was awesome. We felt welcomed and were greeted and explained the process immediately. Restaurant was clean. It was a little cold in there that’s why it got 4 stars on atmosphere. Food was on the bland side (garlic shrimp bowl, taco plate, steak flautas ). I didn’t try any of the sauces though so they may have been the flavor they rely on. $42 for three entrees not bad.
