Tijuana Flats

I went in for lunch today and it was horrible! I love this place from another location, but I’ll probably never visit any of them again! The staff waited on the cash register and the lobby without gloves and attempted to cut my food in half with no gloves on!!! I ask her did she wear gloves and she look at me as if I said something wrong!!! I knew I should’ve exited then… They took the food back and made another one with no meat! I paid for steak!!!!! I’m also a black woman who felt very uncomfortable with Spanish speaking staff! I requested my money back and they insisted making another one!! Go figure!!!!!! Horrible!

We ordered a chicken quesadilla online and picked it up. The store was not very busy so we got our food no problem. When we arrived home we opened up the quesadilla to assemble the ingredients and there was minimal cheese and chicken in it. We were pretty disappointed so we called the store asking if we could switch our order. I spoke with the manager and she was nice at first and then the call got disconnected. I called back and she was very defensive and rude. I tried to tell her that the quesadilla had barely any chicken and cheese and she said “I have been in the kitchen so that can’t be true”. She then said to bring it in so they can look at it. She also said they are extremely busy but when we were just there and there was only about 3 other people. We still wanted food but she aggressively said we will just refund you and hung up. She didn’t believe us and she was extremely rude. That isn't how a manager should handle a situation and customer especially when I was trying to be nice and really just wanted a good meal. Sadly we won’t be coming back.

Update: went back again to give them a second chance. Everything tasted great and our food came out warm. We’ll be back. Me and my sons food were cold.. there was no one in the restaurant. It makes no sense that the food was cold like it’s been sitting out…

I love this location! Super friendly staff and restaurant is always clean.
