First of all the owner/people working here are amazing and saved my Thanksgiving. I was making Peking Duck for a potluck and was already 3 days into the drying prep and drying process, I needed last minute cucumbers and scallions. All other stores closed early so I was hosed. Then I thought maybe I can go to a restaurant and buy some. After explaining my situation to the owner/front desk guy, he went into the kitchen to ask and came back and ended up giving me some supply from the kitchen all for free! It made my week and the duck was a huge success. Thank you Tian Fu staff! _______________________________________________________________ In terms of logistics, the online menu prices are not updated. I ordered the Mongolian Three and the official online menu said it was $8.45 but it was actually $9.95. Still came out to $10.85. Which was still a decent deal. The hot and sour soup was tasty and good but bland, I typically prefer a stronger sour and spicy taste. The Mongolian Three was also tasty, but it was clearly fried first, which I didn't like for health reasons. There were only 2 small pieces of shrimp, I was hoping to get a bit more, otherwise I would perhaps just have gone with the Mongolian beef instead. The dish itself could also have used a bit more heat. The egg fried rice was passable, not that great. I do like that they provide a bunch of deep fried extras if you like that, they were all amazingly tasty but again, for health reasons, I try to avoid them. Vegetable egg roll, crab rangoon, and fried dough sticks for the soup, I ate them like chips. I do like that they give you these cute reusable takeout bags and it felt better than the cheapo plastic ones. It will be my lunch bag from now on. Free advertising for them :) Had their Chinese menu multiple times. My church catered from them for our 50th anniversary and it was decent. They have a very good Cantonese banquet menu for wedding receptions or company events. They also have decent Szechuan style menu items.
