Thirsty's is what every bar aspires to be. Some places have it, but most do not. There's something special about a tavern that welcomes all, with no pretensions allowed or necessary. The patrons and bartenders accept strangers and regulars, remember your name, and will treat you with dignity. The crowd is mind-boggling eclectic and people from all walks of life enter the building with no signage at 8 State Street in Pittsford. I spent an afternoon solo and an evening accompanied by my wife at Thirsty's after flying into Rochester from Milwaukee. By the night's end, I hugged the owner and his wife, met the bartender's dad, and felt like I lived in Pittsford my whole life. Thirsty's has an aura that's impossible to replicate. Go and join the Thirsty's family.
Bartender turned music off at 10 pm when they close at 12. They clearly were trying to push people out early. Terrible atmosphere after. Service sucked.
Great place to watch a game and drink a beer
We were passing through on the bike trail and stopped by for a beer. Friendly folks. We were able to eat our lunch from Hungry’s (which is next door) at the bar.
great spot for a drink. especially outside in the back
Conner is by far and away the best bartender in the greater Rochester area. Great service! Thank you for the hospitality!
From Buffalo. Our son is in camp so we had a mini vacation nearby. Thirsty’s has a great beer beer list. We’re IPA people. The outdoor patio is awesome. The staff is supper friendly. The owner, aka chip & pickle guy, is a great guy. Thanks.
