Third Wave Cafe & Wine Bar

Absolutely unbelievable! We got to town at 4-ish on a Friday in early April. Went to the restaurant around 7-pm looking for a table. We were told it would be about an hour and a half wait BUT the cafe, up the steps, was first come first serve and offers the full menu and bar, so we did that. We got the Spinach & Artichoke dip and the pastrami beef rib board… the pastrami was probably the best meat I’ve ever had in my mouth. My husband was initially offended but eventually agreed, lol. It’s not often on the menu, but if you’re ever here and it is on the menu, GET IT!!!

I have nothing more to say other than phenomenal. This place was spectacular. The service was awesome, the mimosas were great, and the food was truly spectacular. If you go, try the shrimp and grits. It was probably the best meal at a restaurant I've had in the past year. UPDATE 2024: this place continues to be amazing, and we can't wait to keep going back now we live closer! Highly recommend the Scallops!

I've been here twice this week and I kept forgetting to take pictures! The food was amazing. The first meal I had was the smoked brisket/pastrami hash...wow... just...wow! Everything you could want in a hash and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The second time it was more lunchtime than brunch time for me personally so I had the cranberry - citrus chicken salad. It was made just how I like it....no celery and served on a beautiful croissant! I paired it with the tomato bisque, which was good. I loved the outside seating in the garden... intimate and you never felt crowded or rushed. Service was excellent on both occasions. I look forward to my next opportunity to try something else on their very creative menu. Parking: The first time we came it was around 10:30 am so it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. Fortunately my husband is a great parallel parker!! The second time we came it was a Friday at lunch time. It was tough to find parking but we managed. It was a little bit of a walk but totally worth it.

I haven't been able to eat here in a few years since the wait is 2 hours or more for 2 people. The last time I ate here the food was delicious. They should consider reservations so people aren't waiting for hours.

Great food and atmosphere

Absolutely delicious, ambiance is always good vibes, and service was excellent. Will be back soon.
