Hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in Midtown. They've been around since the early 90s, originally in the building where the Rise Rooftop bar now stands. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, really. My personal go to favorite is the Com Dau Hu Luc Lac dish (rice with wok seared tofu cubes). Other favorites include the beef version, banh xeo (Vietnamese crepe), pho, and banh mi. Service is fast. The staff is friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend! Update 9/27/23 the prices have gone up and it may seem by a lot but to be fair it was priced too low before and with all that's going on they are just catching up. Still worth the price increase
The first time I visited, I had a Bahn mi, and it was average. The baguettes excellent. The atmosphere was a little crusty. Prices looked good. I will have to try this place a couple of more times before I can form an opinion. I would recommend trying it at least once and form your own opinion.
Fast service, tastes good, excellent price. Highly recommend.
The most important and consistent Pho and Banh Mi place in Houston. The food is always fresh and delicious, not overpriced and fast polite service. It’s soup and sandwiches at the end of the day that is everywhere, but since everyone is looking for authentic places this place stands out
