The food was delicious... me and my company was greeted warmly and we went with a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a braised short ribs sandwich with 3 cheese mac and cheese appetizers.. both was delicious. Its reputation is well deserved and I would come back again. Vegetarian options: Portobello sandwich... there are others.
Good selection of sandwiches and meals. Nice little spot. Would come again..
I’m disappointed bc I been coming here since the Covid days. Ordered (delivery) short rib sandwich and it was soggy and wet, I had to eat one side of it. Mac and cheese was not baked correctly and was not good. Spend 70.00 (bought other stuff) and you would think they appreciate that, smh.
This is a Bushwick true hidden gem; can’t emphasize how good the entire menu is; family owned and without half the shenanigans of NY hospitality that doesn’t add to the food; here is all about the taste
The food is very good if you're into grilled cheese but if you're too hungry might not be the best place for ordering online. At least not to my experienced. The past 3 times I had to wait at the restaurant for longer than 30min even tho I got there after the expected pickup time. I'm happy that their business is good but this place is heavily under staffed and makes it very hard to remain a customer
Love The wheel house! The music is great, cozy vibe, delicious food. Highly recommend the PanaVia Tornado (award winning sandwhich!!) and tomato soup.
Pretty good sandwiches but a little pricey for what you get. I’m editing this review after going there several more times. The food is great. The sandwiches are tasty. I’ve made my own and had the brisket sandwich. Both are really good. The brisket sandwich is actually pretty incredible especially if you get the tomato soup and dip it. Soup is really good. They have the best tater tots I’ve ever had. I don’t know what brand they use or if they make their own but they are super crispy and the mince on the potato is so fine that they melt in mouth. Salad is also really good. As far as the price it’s pretty average at this point. (I guess I’m getting used to food inflation). I like that you can add extra sides to your meal for only $3 a piece. That’s a steal. The sandwiches already come with a side. I’m going to go back to try their entrees. The pasta looks really good.
Best grill cheese in Brooklyn!
