The Wedge Pizzeria

Sat 1/6/24 the Wedge at Western is closed, number is disconnected. The Deep Deuce and Midwest Locations remain for now. Been a regular for years, phenomenal people and food!

This was great food but this location is now closed.

The Wedge used to be our go-to for great brick-oven pizza with unique topping choices and excellent appetizers. However, this visit was incredibly disappointing. The menu seems to have changed and no longer includes our favorite salad and the topping choices were more limited. We chose two signature pizzas from the small selection and were informed that they could not make either because they didn’t have the ingredients necessary. We changed our order and were underwhelmed by what we received. While the brick oven still makes a great crust, the toppings were lacking. I felt bad for the staff as it seemed the restaurant was not well equipped. Hope to see the Wedge make improvements to their menu and management to make the best use of their beautiful brick-oven, but we will not be rushing to return.

This boutique pizza parlor has been around for a long time and is a local favorite. The food is always good, but since the specialty pizzas are made to order, it can sometimes take a while to reach your table. The topping selections include all of your usual favorites plus a few ingredients you might not expect at a neighborhood pizza shop. Premade lunch specials make it easy to grab something tasty if you’re in a hurry, and you can pick them up early in the morning on your way to work, even though the restaurant per se isn’t open. This is a cozy place with limited seating, but there is an area to dine outdoors, weather permitting. Be advised, the restaurant is immediately adjacent to a heavily-traveled city street, which may not be conducive to quiet, conversational outdoor dining during busy traffic times. As I said, the food is always good, but, in my opinion, a bit overpriced. This place is great for dates, friends’ gatherings and families with children of any age. Kid-friendliness: Definitely! Wheelchair accessibility: A limited number of spaces available.

New owners...gluten friendly/free options lacking. Only small pizza available for GF. Confusing prices, overcharged, and waiter couldn't explain extra charges. Did make amends but had to get Manager. No longer serving antipasta plate. Not worth the stop if looking for more than just a pizzaria.

Great place to eat! Food is great, staff is awesome & they also have lunch specials & happy hour. The food has never disappointed!
