The Waffle Experience

I think this place has closed. I call and no answer. I drove there and it is locked.

The price is surprisingly high. I get they're trying to do a whole thing with the food but the cocktails themselves are extremely high priced for low quality. The bloody Mary had no spice. The food was nothing special and the sides were an afterthought. We had 4 different servers over the course of an hour. One of them was clearly hungover or something because they couldn't get a sentence out and forgot what they said mid sentence. The table next to us had their server come back after 45 minutes and once they found out they had their food, they immediately went on break. There were only like 7 tables for 3-4 servers, I really don't know why everything was so bad. Anyway, nothing really stood out. Can get better for cheaper other places.

I went halfsies with my Aunt on a meal here. The waffles were tough and doughy, and the chicken fried steak was greasy. My apple bacon waffle dish tasted like the waffles came from a can. The pomegranate orange cocktail was terrible and we had to ask for more pomegranate to balance it out. The real kicker though was the inappropriate jokes told by the server we had, that guy needs to watch his mouth because his crass jokes made my Aunt cry. If it were up to me, we would have left without ordering as a result. Overall a huge disappointment.

I would never come back to this restaurant. We had a party of 7 and the manager/chef bald headed individual is extremely rude. Treated others differently according to skin color. Food was not enjoyable and neither was the environment. The waitress was the best part.

The food was delicious, and I highly recommend it. The reason for the 3 stars on the service and atmosphere is because they were unorganized that day. I'm not sure if they had just opened or had new people training, but it was bad. They didn't check up on us, and the chef kept yelling at the staff. We had a Gordon Ramsay experience! lol Anyhow, the food was delicious, so I'm willing to give it another try and go from there.

Food was excellent! The service however was atrocious. We were not acknowledged when we came in, had to ask the server where we could sit. A couple next to us was waiting an hour for food, they were brought the wrong food and then only half of their order. We were not checked on during the meal. There was 2 servers and only 6 tables w/ customers. It was rough. Very scattered and disorganized.

Chicken and waffles and Johnny Appleseed $45 total. A little pricey for breakfast, but it is great quality food and feels like an elevated breakfast compared to a Denny’s or huckleberry’s

I had an extremely bad experience at this restaurant this morning. I came in and stood by the door waiting to be seated for a few minutes and watched two more people come in behind me. The waiter then addressed the two women behind me and told them to pick a seat. Of course they took the last seat in the house and made themselves at home, leaving me to have to wait even longer for a table. ‍♀️ I’m not sure why they were seated first since I had been waiting already. ‍♀️ I left due to the extremely poor service and I will not return. I would not recommend this restaurant and would like to remind people that there are other amazing breakfast place in the area with MUCH better customer service. Do a hard pass on this place and go elsewhere.
