The Venice West

Cool venue and decor, great variety of artists, friendly staff. It’s a shame their sound system is absolute trash and they had it on full blast, my ears were hurting and didn’t stop ringing the whole night. No doubt those standing right by the speakers got permanent hearing loss. These venues can do better. Update your sound system.

The sound was so bad for Bridgette Calls Me Baby that I wanted to stuff in earplugs. It really was a huge disservice towards the band. I left even without listening to their best song, Impressively Average. It's safe to say that the sound system is Impressively Below Average.

Got tickets to see The Windbreakers here and had so much fun!! The doorman and front staff were very kind and the decor is very moody and warm for a bar. Our server Kyle was working the whole floor and didn't miss a beat. The drinks were nice and for a packed house, I was really surprised at how fast the drinks came out. I should also mention that they were all very tasty given the fact that they came out so fast. We ordered an old fashioned, a Cadillac martini, an Espresso martini, a dirty martini, and a couple of beers. We also tried the garlic fries and they were tasty, but needed a bit more salt. The restrooms are clean here and I love the nod to LA culture on the wallpaper. Street parking only if you decide to visit. I loved this venue and will definitely be back 10/10 recommend

We had a great dinner and a show here. No problems at all, very nice place.

Great place to eat, drink, and enjoy live music. Sound is great, staff is superb.
