The buffalo cauliflower salad was amazingly delicious!
Every vegan restaurant is a good restaurant. I am a vegetarian for more than 30 years and I never had a meat philly cheese or patty melt. For me it's a bit strange that somebody would create a meatlike, highly processed soy patty to simulate a meaty sandwich but the result is a very savory, cheesy, guey, crackling sandwich that goes straight to your umami receptors and plays soothing flavors for you that taste of comfort and safety. The place itself needs some out-of-covid TLC. A better ventilation to keep the smoke down, more light behind the counter, a faster service, more places to sit, and more and different beverages on the menu. I liked the charcoal lemonade but I am having a hard time buying into the pseudo science behind alkaline water. Find a place to sit outside enjoy your sandwich and herbed fries.
I guess every restaurant is bound to have a bad day, and this was the case for the Veggie. It took us at least 45 minutes to get our order. There was a lady waiting on her order and she was waiting before we got there and when we left. There were people that were coming in after us but were getting their food before us. Overall it was a frustrating experience. Hopefully the next time I come, I'll be able to change this two star review to a five star review
We usually visit this place several times because of a referral and how well we enjoyed the bowl. However, today was unacceptable! We purchased two smoky veggie bowls which isn't a cheap menu item. I asked the cashier if the guacamole that comes with it was salty because the last couples if times it was on a bit of salty end. The cashier eventually understood and helped us with a sauce that was more suitable. Well once we got home and started to eat the bowl, we realized that the rice was undercooked. After no one answered the phone we proceeded to drive back cross town and let them know so we could get better rice. As soon as we walked in the door, the owner was very defensive because her employee apparently said we was rude, so we asked the cashier who started that we was not. The cook runs from the kitchen and says she was the one who said it. We had zero contact with the cook and the owner was very aggressive and rude as well. She said she would access the rice but brought a sample and said this is how we cook our rice. No problem she never tried to correct the situation but started an altercation and the cook attempted to come around the counter and fight us, I will not be going back! Very unprofessional, this post does not explain the level of ignorance.
We got there at closing so there weren't any choices but I did score an order of the spicy Lion's Mane with shaved carrots and sliced celery. The mushrooms and carrots were OUTSTANDING! I'd suggest if you aren't going to do something with the celery, save it. I can't wait to go again next weekend and get it again! We also loved the Hibiscus water. Thanks and see you soon!
Food is okay. The customer service socks! Never greeted with a smile. It's not warm and inviting. And, when I called about the price discrepancy, I was hung up on. Great customer service goes a long way and you all need a vast improvement!
Love this place I had the Cluster, the Philly, and the orange chicken basket. All of them are so good. I love their “fried chicken” so much.
Wonderful! Food and service were outstanding.
We have eaten at this place a few times and really liked it. It had always been on the greasy side, but today everything we ordered was saturated in fryer oil. It was obvious that the fryer oil wasn't hot enough, so the fries were soggy from the excess grease as were the chicken bites. The chicken sandwich was no different. The picture shows the bun which completely absorbed all the oil and turned into a soggy mess. We love supporting local vegan businesses but sadly, we won't be going back to this place.
