Fun pub with good drinks and good atmosphere. I really like trivia night. I'm not super into the food as a vegetarian but I hear the wings are fantastic.
Happy hour is a crazy good deal. Tuna melt every time. Thanks guys.
A very friendly and cozy neighborhood pub with a Scottish flair! Be sure to eat as well as drink the carefully curated food and drink selections and don't neglect the desserts. The small menu features many surprising delights including vegetable haggis, authentic Scottish fish-and-chips, sourdough grilled cheese and tomato bisque among other fine touches. Happy hour incentives include reduced prices on beer; late-night incentives include trivia, music and other regular events. Vegetarian options: Try the vegetable haggis!
Undrinkable margarita. To be fair, I was warned that they are a neighborhood bar. Uninterested to blandly hostile service, unlike the first time I went there when I enjoyed my cocktail and the service very much. So I paid and left.
Awesome pub for dinner and a drink
Awesome bar in Hamilton Heights.
Such a cozy and relaxing hangout spot
I love this bar, I feel so safe here. When I first moved here I didn’t know anything about this neighborhood, as someone who is shy I didn’t know where to go for drink. so I googled the closest bar near my home. The Vale came up. So I walked down the street to this bar with my book and sat in the corner. I ordered a glass of wine and started reading my book. Steve the amazing bartender came up to me and asked me what I was reading, I told him “oh this is Buffy the vampire slayer book called Big Bad.” Me and Steve talked about how we met the actors and Buffy lore. I walked into the bathroom and saw Darth Vader on the wall sitting on the toilet and I’m like this bar is own my dorks! So cool! After I met Chris, Gavin, Chenee Matt and Mason. I came to this bar so shy and alone but here I started meeting new people and making so many new friends. This bar it’s like cheers but like a better tv show. It’s like going to the Bronze ;)
I stumbled upon this gem of a Scottish pub and am so glad I did. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warm Scottish hospitality that could rival a cozy Highland cottage — thanks Gavin! Everyone that works here is an absolute riot! Too-notch banter, excellent, professional service from all staff. Chenee is the queeeeen. Now, let's talk about the menu... I had no idea the veggie haggis was all veg until the 2rd or 3rd time i ordered it. As a proud carnivore this was a very humbling moment. Don’t even start me on the Paisley pie….effing delish. a culinary masterpiece. They've managed to take traditional Scottish fare and elevate it to a whole new level. (Go Chris and Mason!) And let's not forget about the beverage selection! I would particularly like to shout out Steve’s delectable apple cider cocktail as far as the seasonal selection goes. A tasting experience that will make your taste buds dance a Highland fling. Beer selection is great! I’m a fan of the Twisted Thistle IPA So, if you're looking for a place where laughter flows as freely as the whisky, and where you can indulge in delectable Scottish delights, this pub is an absolute must-visit. Just be prepared to leave with a smile on your face and 45 new best friends Slàinte mhath!
