I have mixed feelings about this place. Last night we ordered pizza to go and it was really good. We got the Ricardo which was spicy. So we decided to go back tonight for pasta. We should have stopped at the pizzas. The pasta was so overcooked it was breaking apart on the fork. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana which was anything but a parmigiana, the two pieces of over an inch thick eggplant was beer battered and fried, topped with a tiny amount of mozzarella and served over overcooked pasta and a very strange uncured sauce heavy on oregano. My husband got the pesto chicken and pasta. Same problem there with mushy pasta which fell apart. The big problem with that dish however was the pesto had zero basil flavor. Not to mention it was broken and pools of oil sat at the bottom of the plate. I will say the mozzarella in carrozza appetizer and the Tuscan salads were delicious. The server was excellent and the food came out of the kitchen surprisingly fast.
Called ahead for a party of 7 at 5:30. Got there and they had our name and number of people but had NO PLAN for seating us. Told us it would be a 20 minute wait. After 40 minutes the told us they planned to seat us at a table and pointed it out. They began clearing the people’s plates and we assumed we would be seated shortly. WRONG!!! The brought more plates and another pizza. As they were finishing the pizza, another pizza was delivered to the table. WE LEFT!!!!
OMG if you are in Pensacola this is the place to eat!!!
Paxton was a great server! First time trying and it tasted amazing. I recommend the meatball starter! Also, affordable. Two sodas a starter and a larger pizza only for $35
It's very nice, and the pizza is delicious.
I love the pizza here. I have taken friends who have ordered various menu items and they loved it, too!
