The Trough

We went into check out the karaoke on a Saturday night. The service was fine and the karaoke operator was pleasant enough. The atmosphere was the most unwelcoming my husband and I had ever experienced. It seems like the clientele were all regulars who knew each other. They kept staring at us like we didn’t belong. Songs were sung about shotguns being aimed at strangers at the door, etc. We sang one song, finished our drinks and got the heck out of there. We didn’t feel safe. It’s a pretty rough place.

I went in for karaoke. The karaoke was fun as usual but I could not get a server. She did finally come over and I asked for a menu. She never brand the menu. Quite a while later she arrived again and asked if I was ok. I ordered cheese sticks with ranch. It was nearly an hour before they came out and they were barely warm and no ranch. I waited about 5 minutes for her to bring the ranch and ended going up to the bar to ask for it. By then the cheese sticks were ice cold. Won’t be ordering food here again.

The best hot wings ever and homemade ranch and blue cheese! Good tap selection and live music with a dance floor some nights.

Went in during the day and had a good time.

While I really do like this place, they need to get more staff. Sadly, the norm now is waiting 15 minutes for drinks and having to almost hit a server to get anything else. The food is still great but it's not making up for the service anymore.
