Staying alive by the bones - forever will be the favorite of locals!! Vegetarian options: Better than many other pub options in this town... You'll be fine as long as you order off-menu... Therefore, it may not be a good option during peak hours on any given day. Dietary restrictions: The kitchen here is (physically / architecturally) tight, so they cannot work to every modification ... But they will work with you to provide a dead-honest "yes/no" w.r.t. any restrictions or allergies. Parking: WestEnd parking is always going to be a nightmare ... But, there is a valet service next door. Kid-friendliness: License does NOT allow kids here. Wheelchair accessibility: This venue is perhaps 70% hi-top tables that are not wheelchair-accessible. The surrounds, entrance, washroom, etc are 100% wheelchair friendly.
I dropped in out of the blue on a Saturday afternoon and had a most wonderful time. I ordered the fish and chips and it was 100% perfect, absolutely the best battered fish I've ever had. The hostess was delightful and engaging. I sat under one of the overhead heaters with a fantastic view of the bay and a perfect spot for people watching. It was a magical afternoon, god bless the cook!
Great location overlooking English Bay, close to multiple restaurants, hotels and other services.
Great place to go watch Man City play...
Nice vibe, amazing view, and great cocktails. While I enjoy the pudding, the salty biscuits don't quite complement the experience.
Called ahead, was told we didn't need a reservation, showed up, got kicked out for not having a reservation. 2 stars because the ambiance was neat.
