The Thailander

We had the loveliest of family meals this evening to celebrate my birthday. The pad thai was simply delicious and the owner who knew it was my birthday was so kind and made the evening so special for us. What an absolute gem of a place. Thank you.

Food was just amazing. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to! I ordered a spicy pork belly and it was incredible. Was it very spicy? Yes. Was I so sobbing while eating it? Yes. 100% worth it! The servers were really nice and friendly and I think the prices are reasonable. Loved it!

Ordered online, no cuttlery despite request and items not available despite menu showing.

We've gotten takeaway from The Thailander many many times and it's usually a great experience! However, last time we found eggshells in the food which was a bit disappointing. These things happen, but one of the pieces was quite large.

This place is always PACKED and I was excited to try it! The only reason I gave a low rating is because I think my pad se ew was cooked without any sauce? My Tom Ka was lovely and the quality of the ingredients in the pad se ew were great, but it didn't have any sauce at all on it. Sucks that I paid £9 for it. On the upside, they have a good rewards program. I hope next time is better

Amazing food and the staff was so so nice, too. Really felt like being back in Thailand. The pad Thai was awesome- really authentic, but the crispy pork belly blew us away! The sauce was something else! Not much space but definitely worth a little wait. We were here on a random Thursday and it was packed - rightfully so. Thanks so much for the great experience.

Can't believe I've never been here before. The food was absolutely amazing. Full of flavours and great portion sizes. Would highly recommend it if you're after authentic and good Thai food.

Best Thai food place I’ve had by far in the UK. The Pad Kee Mao is a must try!
