Service 4.5 stars Breakfast 2 stars Lunch 3.5 stars Vibe 4 stars We were here for both breakfast and lunch as we were staying here for 2 nights. The food does not taste as good as they look. Service is good but do not recommend if you are not staying here!

This is a lovely high end restaurant. I was here for breakfast. I had the 3 egg omelet minus the toast and potatoes. I added hollandaise sauce on the side. The atmosphere was beautiful. The waitstaff pleasant and attentive.

Food was tasty...tried the vegan meatloaf with roasted vegetables...with a relaxed and stylish atmosphere. Service was good but a tad slow

Loved the experience. We sat outside right by the pool. The service can be a bit slow but they were very accommodating. We had the food officer or quality manager personally come check in on how food was. Ordered the French toast- it was huge and had the right flavor and sweetness. Huevos Rancheros was one of the best I ever tried. It was much better than the ones I had in Mexico. Shakshuka came in an attractive presentation. Taste was average. Coffee was average. The ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Carefully picked and prepared. On the whole a wonderful experience.

This is for a breakfast visit on Dec 26, 2023. We (a party of 7) were at the Terrace at 10:30 for breakfast on the 26th, my family and I were entertaining dear friends visiting us from North California. Our waiter was rude and lacked not just manners but energy and interest. The Food was incredibly poor, both taste and presentation wise. You might think the kitchen ran out of eggs since the scrambled egg dishes a few of us ordered barely had one egg scrambled. The roasted potatoes were completely cold and mushy, the toasted bread was burnt and felt like decades old, and everything else was cold to the touch and had no taste. The seats had super dirty cushions and the tables were all scratched up and sticky. Everything was incredible bad. The hotel management should take this comment and comments made by others seriously. We have frequented this Huntington jewel for 30 years and it’s sad to see what’s happened to this beautiful property and 5-star hotel under Langham’s management. During the Ritz-Carlton days, you would never have such poorly trained and behaving waiters nor such awful food and furniture to tolerate. We were so disgusted by the entire experience, it’s doubtful they we’ll go back to the Terrace at Langham ever again.

I had the breakfast buffet, it was awful , food was cold, just life less, not worth the price. Do not recommend and will not do this again. The staff is wonderful, however the food quality is poor. Considering this is supposed to be luxury hotel, very disappointed. Barely no vegetation options. Not healthy at all.

Loved eating here. Great service, great atmosphere with a view outside, great food. I upgraded the Benedict to lobster and it was a fantastic idea. If I had to complain, the potatoes were a bit in the dry side, but some ketchup fixed them right up. Also keep in mind it’s pricey, but if you’re at this hotel you’re probably ok with that in the first place. Highly recommend!

What a terrible place. Can’t even make eggs right. My toast was always burnt anytime I came. They had a waiter with a neck tattoo who was so rude and wouldn’t answer any questions. You would think at such a fancy place they would treat their customers with respect and be able to make a simple breakfast. They have no idea what they are doing they over charge and they are so rude. There are way too many incredible restaurants in Pasadena to waste your money here.

While the venue exuded historical charm, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. I have oncerns about the slow service, with entrees arriving nearly 2 hours later. The staff appeared overwhelmed, making it necessary for patrons to actively seek assistance. Our waiter, unfortunately, seemed inexperienced, behaving erratically and often appearing confused. On a positive note, the Burrata Salad, Bass, and soup were stellar. However, the steak, turkey, and remaining dishes were mediocre, not justifying the high cost of the Thanksgiving prix fixe menu. The atmosphere lacked festive elements, with no background music, and little decor. $130 + $26 Forced Top per person - for 2 that's 300, for 6, $1000. This has to be special!! Unfortunately, the experience was further marred by the comedic, albeit unhelpful, behavior of our waiter. The entire ordeal, from 5:45 until 8:30pm, felt interminable. 3 hours to get to the check and go home , was painful!

I definitely would NOT recommend anyone to go to any of their pre-fixe or special/holiday event dining options, and possibly do not go to their restaurant in general. Not worth the money at all. The service was so extremely slow even though it wasn't busy. We didn't get our entrees until nearly 2 hours later, and from what I heard from other diners this was common. No one was around if you needed anything. We had to actively flag down people for any sort of service. The restaurant does not seem to care and know they can make money from hotel guests. The food was just okay and the side dishes could have been warmer. For over $100 per person plus a mandatory 20% service charge, the experience was truly not worth it. For what is suppose to be a festive holiday dining experience, it truly lacked. There was no background music, the lighting was dreary (some lights went out on diners!) and the restaurant wasn't well decorated. I am not usually a harsh critic, but this experience was so awful I really wanted to let others know so they don't make the same mistake like me. Save your money and your time!
