The Tap Room at Dubsdread

The salmon and mahi were excellent. The service was excellent. We ordered key lime pie and it tasted like garlic. We’re assuming the knife used to slice the pie had garlic on it or it was served in a garlic laced pie pan. My wife said it tasted like it was in the crust. We both hate garlic. I hope the kitchen staff reads this.

Love this place, great atmosphere and food.

*****BEWARE****** PEOPLE OF COLOR STAY AWAY While my bad review has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant itself. Everything with the staff the food and cleanliness of the restaurant was great. Our server Jennifer was absolutely the best she made us feel welcomed and treated us the same as everyone else. NOW PLEASE BEWARE PEOPLE OF COLOR STAY AWAY FROM HERE. I can’t tell you how many dirty looks tooted nose rolled eyes why are you even here looks we received by numerous Caucasian ppl. They don’t want US here and it shows. AGAIN we were treated like kings queens and princess by Jennifer or waitress but I’m sorry the ppl that dine here (the regulars) mess it up for the business for others. My 13 year old daughter was ready to go. The caucasian women and her husband that sat in front of us kept looking at her and rolling their eyes and for reason the women would randomly shake her head not sure for what we were just a family of 5 eating. 3 adults 2 kids. My 2 year old they looked at her like she was filth ( you can read faces I know what I saw). It was time to go at that point. PEOPLE OF COLOR BEWARE (ANYBODY WITH DARK SKIN). I saw one African-American male with Locs working as a server never looked our way it was almost like he was scared to acknowledge us. And I have a feeling when those racist prejudice, older Caucasians come in the people at the restaurant know who to put who with who trust me ole boy don’t serve them. You can read the room. And no, I didn’t bother to tell management for what they know. This place has been here for years. There’s nothing they can do. They can’t stop somebody from looking at you and rolling their eyes and tooting up their nose. We just finished our meals and will never ever come back here. It’s one thing to treat an adult this way but innocent children.

Dined in the cocktail hour room. They needed more space. Had the prime rib. Delicious. Too thick cut. Medium well still too rare. Had leftovers.

I ordered a quesadilla with chicken. It was probably the best quesadilla I have ever had. I wish I had taken a picture. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and just the right proportion. It came with salsa over a bed of lettuce, sour cream, and plenty of guacamole. The service was good, everything came out at the right time and our drinks were promptly refilled throughout the meal. We were seated outside overlooking the golf course and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.

Great food and excellent drinks - I will be back

Our waiter was wonderful. The food was fantastic and it was quiet enough to be relaxing without being so quiet that you're scared to talk. My boyfriend raved about the sweetened iced tea.
