Packed spot last Saturday morning. Nice outdoor area for dining. Waited about a half hour for a table and close to an hour for our meal! Food was good but not great. Not worth our time spent.
Breakfast was great!! Little under staffed so it took a long time to order. Be prepared to wait during the peak times but food is worth it!
Took flight from Iowa last March to key west from Miami. On the way back to Miami, I saw a restaurant with hay on the roof. Wife said it’s thatch with a giggle. I had French toast, pile of hash browns, and three sausage patties. Best breakfast I've ever had and I’m 69.
Not just for breakfast anymore. Now serving smoked BBQ ribs for lunch. Pricing for eat-in or take out. See photos for more information. At 11:45am all tables are full. We did take out. All four of us called the ribs good - - will go back during the six weeks we stay here. One issue: They were so busy we waited for more than 30 minutes for the manager/cook to get the ribs for us. Also, you may want to call ahead as there are X number of ribs cooked each day.
We ate here both mornings during our visit because it was so good! We love finding these kind of hole in the wall joints while we travel! We ate both mornings inside vs out back on the patio. The inside waitress is a little persnickety with people. I can see some people being offended by her personality but we found her amusing! She’s old school and doesn’t put up with lallygagging! The food both mornings was delicious! The biscuits were amazing… the next morning we all ordered them with our breakfast!
This restaurant has the most friendly wait staff, hard working, very efficient for how busy they were. The food (quality and flavor) was by far the best we had from Daytona to Key West! We look forward to our next visit.
