The Steamhouse Lounge

Update: We have come here many many times and I always love it. I did get the lobster bisque and it is as delicious as everyone says it is! Definitely give it a try!! My daughter and I fight over it. You can't go wrong with the raw bar or crab legs either! I just love coming here right at sunset; it is so beautiful on the roof top or the koi pond seating. Fyi, they have incredibly huge koi fish!! They are gorgeous. I highly recommend this place anytime! The service is great and the food is great. It is a regular rotation of ours. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Not only was it a gorgeous night, we got one of the best tables on this beautifully lit rooftop porch. With part of the skyline glowing with the sunset behind it. The food was delicious but the service was even better. I made a rookie mistake coming here the first time.... I didn't get the lobster bisque!! I have to come back just to get that now and I'm very excited. I should have known something was up when the the table all ordered the bisque and only that. Overall I had a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit!

My family first time here we are from Douglasville it was my granddaughter birthday she turned 10 and wanted seafood so the concierge from the Hyatt recommend The steam house lounge. The food was magnificent and the service was awesome and our server who is Ethiopian and from Jamaica was great and friendly plus I am a connoisseur of Bannas foster but my first time having a Bannas foster cheese cake was to die for. Me and my wifey are already planning a date night to come back.

Consistently good seafood place on mid town. Got the lobster bisque, but the bar doesn’t stock sherry or port. Great bisque. Chopped salad was very good. Dinner partners enjoyed the low country boil.

A very good restaurant I order catfish and it was super good highly recommend this place

Our server Charles was absolutely amazing. We were visiting for our anniversary and he gave us the low down on all the best food and drink options and he was spot on for everything. He was incredible, the atmosphere gave you a "where the locals eat" feeling and the food was incredible. If we are ever down in Atlanta again, we will definitely be returning!
