The Steakhouse on Whitemarsh Island

We came for the steaks and were not disappointed. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but they do a great job inside. Tender flavorful steaks and sides.

We’re from up north, my family and I came in on a Sunday evening. The atmosphere, the service, the food and the vibe were the perfect combination for an excellent dinner! The guitarist playing music softly created a relaxing mood. The hostess introduced our two boys to the talking mannequin (St. Patrick’s Day decoration) which they found quite entertaining. Our server was very nice, friendly and informative. Everything from the lamb chop lollipop appetizer to our steaks, and the kids pasta was cooked perfectly. The chef was greeting tables and asked everyone how everything was. The dessert was a cheesecake infused with London fog and lavender. Thank you to all the staff for a very pleasant Sunday evening dinner!

Excellent dining experience, hostess was wonderful, waiter excellent, and the food was perfect. We had the ribeye with roasted potatoes and filet with mashed potatoes all cook to perfection. Plus we had chocolate layered lasagna brownie and a chocolate martini which was the best! Guitar player made it all that more special.

The live music was an added bonus!! Parking: Busy place, but worth the effort

This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had at a restaurant. My Supervisor wanted to show her staff how much she appreciated us for our hard work, and we were literally shown the door. We were a mixed crowd, and I think this was the problem. When our food came out, it was HORRIBLE. WE know it was "supposed" to be chargrilled, but not burnt. When we inquired about the taste, we were told that chargrilled is supposed to be like that and that they were cooked "spot on", according to our requests. All of the Caucasian orders were "spot on" but the others were burnt. We were then told, we could order pasta but no more steaks would be sent to our table. We asked the "hostess" was she the manager and, she stated that she was the owner and "that we could leave" and began snatching up plates. At this point, I felt like my ancestors and was very offended. If I could rate this as a negative -5 stars, I would. Our waiter, was very professional and polite, but as far as everyone else, they reminded us of who we were-BLACK, not African American. They should put a sign on the door that says, "WHITES ONLY", because this is how everyone in our party felt.

First time there for New Year Eve. We both had Filet and cooked perfect. Our server was very attentive and personable. Desert was fantastic accompanied with after dinner liquer. We will be back!!

An absolute treat. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Staff was fabulous. Thank you, we'll be back.

We used gift card for belated anniversary take out dinner. The filet was so tender! Definitely going back for more! Mashed potatoes very good and each enjoyed our house salads. Delicious huge grilled shrimp cocktail & creamy cheese cake slice for dessert. Husband enjoyed his NY strip but ordering filet next time after I raved over mine. Other than not serving bread with dinner, no complaints! Very nice customer service & pretty inside. We'll be heading back again soon! No problems with parking unlike some other steak restaurants downtown.
