Ultimately kind of meh for the price but has a LOT of potential for success. I'm not trying to rip anyone apart here so I'm going to start with the good: the omlette was delicious. The potatoes were also very tasty but not very hot upon arrival. The coffee was tasty and it looked like from other tables that the alcoholic drinks were very well made with care in mind. The BLT with the pork belly ended up being the best made thing we got. The staff were friendly enough but some friendlier than others. The manager seemed kind of like maybe he was having a bad day? But was polite if not a little short. Nothing to complain about at all. However: the avocado toast came out untoasted which is maybe a choice? But the bread was incredible none the less and that corn relish was tasty. The tea selection is limited with two choices which is odd for a breakfast place but it seemed like their alcoholic menu was more the focus? Which is totally fine but not my speed as we don't drink. And... the pancakes. The cooked parts were very tasty but they came out raw in the middle twice which is pretty concerning. The manager offered to make it right (and my dad was kind of a Karen about it, my b yall) In general though, I feel like it has a lot of growing to do to be a consistent staple in the area considering the competition. Probably won't be back for a little while but willing to give it another chance when they're more established!

The food was amazing, the cocktails look delish I don’t drink, but the bartender made one the most delicious mocktails. We ordered the crab cakes fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. I had steak and eggs with a pancake. Everything tasted good but my steak did come out a bit overcook instead of medium rare. Cut into my pancake and batter ran out, our server quickly got it fixed. It was great experience did not wait long to be served. Can’t wait to go back. Food looks exactly how it looks in the pics. Go to the Standard!

Love the place. Love the food. The service was below par. Ordered a drink and got it an hour later. My husband ordered a regular coffee. The server said “breakfast coffee”? He said regular coffee. They brought him a breakfast coffee with alcohol 1/2 an hour later. He ordered 3 eggs over medium. They brought him 2 eggs sunny side up. He mentioned, I ordered 3 eggs over medium. They took the plate. She brought the plate back with two eggs over medium. When she brought the tab she said I removed the 3rd egg. She chose to not serve him what he ordered and give him what she wanted him to have for the entire meal. Very pleased with everything but NOT the service.

I made the mistake of planning a first date here. It's not overwhelmingly close, but seating is tight and I did feel like everyone else was part of the get to know you chat. My fault. The food has great flavor, hearty portion, and with skillful execution. The staff is awesome, attentive without being intrusive, brunch cocktails were tasty with a good kick. It's a little noisy, but for groups of family or friends it's perfect. Definitely try it out.

Awesome experience. Visited for Sunday Brunch... a bit of a wait but was well worth it! Food was delicious and Mimosa tower aimed to please.

They were busy but far from packed or slammed. Went at 10 on Friday 12/29 and sign said seat yourself. So we sat by kitchen area and we sat there for 15-20 mins while employee after employee walked by us. Not a word spoken, shame for that to be my first time visiting. Long story short we got up and walked out, very likely we won’t be back.

The atmosphere was lovely and quaint. The food was okay, it was nothing to rave about. I had the shrimp and grits and definitely would not recommend it. I was very disappointed in the dish. It was extremely oily and heavy on the spicy side. The service was mediocre at best. My server, Scott, was very nonchalant and short with our table. Sadly, I've had better service at McDonald's and that in itself says a lot. This was my first visit and most likely my last. The experience definitely did not give a wow factor for me.

My wife and I had an excellent brunch with some friends. I had a burrito and my wife the shrimp and grits. Both were excellent in both texture and taste. The atmosphere is different but in a good way.
