The Standard Grill

The food and staff are both hit or miss

We have been to The Standard Grill a few times recently for dinner and it just keeps getting better. We loved the ceviche and wagyu bavette (obviously with a side of fries!). The hostess, Cici, and our server, Elijah, made us feel so welcome and made sure we had everything we need! Can't wait to come back!

Wish I could give 5 stars but the burgers were raw in the middle. Other than that, everything was amazing

The Standard Grill in Manhattan left an indelible mark with both its dinner and breakfast experiences. From the outset, the ambiance and impeccable service set the stage for an exceptional evening. The Meatmarket Manhattan cocktail was a standout, with its perfect blend of flavors, and the steak tartare showcased culinary finesse. Fast forward to breakfast the next day, and the super healthy options, including the green juice and invigorating ginger shot, added a refreshing and nutritious dimension to our culinary journey. The Standard Grill is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where excellence is consistently delivered. This establishment stands as a testament to a commitment to both indulgence and wellness, making it a true gem in the heart of Manhattan.

Excellent through and through! Food was excellent. I had the Standard Burger and fries and everything arrived hot and reasonably quickly. The service was attentive but not obtrusive and the Maitre'd was very pleasant and knowledgable. We didn't have a booking but the evening was reasonably quiet and we found a very nice booth for the evening.

Food was outstanding, the atmosphere was super chill with dim lighting and a great DJ. Service was just ok.
