Came for a concert. The place sold way more tickets than there was seating. Forcing people to try and see the stage, which if you weren't 6 feet tall, you weren't seeing it. Any place shorter people could see the stage from they had staff in the way doing something for the show. If you can't stand for an entire concert, don't spend your money going to the Spur to see any band. You will probably only be able to hear them anyway, and the acoustics don't make up for the lack of space or seating. This place is too small to truly hold any bands for concerts. It was an all-around horrible experience, never planning on going to anything at the Spur again.
I went to the Spur with my friend for her birthday. She came in wearing a mask for health reasons and we sat down and ordered drinks. We were told we had to leave by Trevon and they wouldn’t give us our money back for the cover because she was wearing a face mask. When we were literally patted down by security and passed every other security member and bartender and no one else had a problem or said anything. It was the most ridiculous way to get kicked out of a bar over and ruined my friend’s birthday.
