To be honest, I really love their salmon soup. It's such a treat to have a bowl on cold winter mornings after an early class. The combination of salmon and vegetables is delicious, and a large bowl with a side of flatbread fills you up just right. My only gripe is that they close too early; I wish I could enjoy their tasty salmon soup even after sunset.
The salmon soup was perfect for a cold rainy day.
My friend Tajeaan has been wanting to go to this establishment for the longest time. She being the person that she is adamant to try the soup there. Unfortunately, to her disappointment, it has been closed every single time despite google saying it's open until 3 PM. She is an immense lover of soup and would like to try it as soon as possible on campus. Please if your business is not open, please explicitly state so. She was sad and I cannot say if she has been weeping tears... Once I try the soup for myself, I will change the review as needed. Please help my friend out as she is on the journey to conquer all soups. Thanks
So bad, UBC has no pride in the businesses they let operate within their premises. Almost any business could thrive here with many 10s of thousands of busy students. Yet UBC chooses the most mediocre soup joint that charges their students $12.00 for a bowl of rice and 3 cups of watery, flavourless curry. UBC’s reputation saves them for making any real efforts to support their students well-being. How happy would students be if an affordable, good tasting cafeteria opened up on campus? Instead businesses put more effort into their branding then their actual product and prey off the the busy student who just needs a bite to eat. This meal is hard to finish, my mouth is defeated.
Super bland, it’s like they used water as their seasoning and spices.
The soup is good but the pricing is?????? They have a place in Granville Island where the pricing makes more sense as a touristy spot, but in the middle of a university campus, idk.
