A great spot when you want halal soul food. Never a disappointment. Everyone I bring here loves the food, including my folks from the South. Not for sit-down dining, limited seating. Perfect takeout spot.

Absolutely thrilled with the catering service from The Soul Spot! We had the pleasure of using them for an event hosting 60-80 people, and it was a resounding success. The delivery from Brooklyn to Manhattan was punctual, and the food arrived fresh, hot, and expertly wrapped. This being our first experience with The Soul Spot, I can confidently say it won't be the last. The food exceeded expectations, pleasing everyone in attendance. Chef Yaya's attention to detail and kindness truly stood out. The portions were generous, and the flavors were delicious – many guests were eager to get the restaurant's contact info. A huge thank you to Chef Yaya and The Soul Spot team for their outstanding service! Looking forward to the next catering experience with them. Highly recommended!

A cute hidden spot in Brooklyn. The food was amazing. The handmade strawberry lemonade is my favorite as well. I would just add ice to the drink so that it taste even better. But that's my personal preference. My son enjoyed the chicken. It definitely reminds me of southern soul food. It is a must try if you're in the area.

1st time walking in and they greeted me with open arms. I felt completely comfortable. Me and my 3 friends ate some great food they had such a diverse menu to accommodate our different tastes. The price was very cheap especially compared to all the other restaurants in Brooklyn.If you like home-cooked, Carribean food, and youre in the Brooklyn area, this is the spot to be.

Aaahhhh, soul spot. Bring cash. Great food. So-so customer service and friendliness; limited space for eating in. Did I say great food? Yes, the food is awesome. Worth the price.

A ton of food for an amazing price! Their fried chicken and jerk chicken is out of this world. Mac and cheese is great as well! Loved it every time!

A little hole is the wall, but the jerk chicken was awesome. one review said overcooked. but if you like your chicken stewed, spicy, flavorful and fall off the bone tender you won't be disappointed
