A great restaurant with creative dishes and a very friendly and attentive staff. A lovely atmosphere with delicious food, this is a restaurant I will definitely return to. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager who convinced my I had to try the Griddled Banana Bread (I didn't need much convincing ) and it was beyond words. Spectacularly scrumptious. I couldn't even wait to take the picture - I just had to take that first bite! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

My son and I had a wonderful dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic, great vibe, and the service was impeccable. I especially loved my escargot. I will definitely return.

We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant! We sat Chefs counter, and enjoyed everything from our service to the food to the service! I highly recommend The Smoking Goat for date night with your lover. Intimate atmosphere, kind staff, and super tasty dishes. Our waiter Lafras recommenced the trout and I’m so glad because it was full of flavor! I will definitely be back for more.

Came here during restaurant week and of course we had to try the French onion soup. Food was good, service was good and the steak was our favorite menu item. Do not pass up the crème brule, it was one one of the best I’ve had.

If you are ever in the San Diego area, The Smoking Goat is a must go to for an exquisite dining experience. Fabulous robust menu accompanied by the best service I received in San Diego along with a beautiful atmosphere; what more can two girls from New York ask for! Scottie, our host for the night, made sure we were extremely taken care of. From the moment we walked through the door, every single thing was flawless. And the food! Let’s just say, my cousin and I cannot stop raving about the food. We had the mussels, steak with fries, and the pork chop. There are no words in existence to describe the food and drinks. I guess we can say impeccable! Thanks again to our new family at The Smoking Goat for a supreme dining experience!

The local Swordfish was absolutely the best. It was moist, meaty and rich!
