The Sixth

Very good cocktail bar with a dark, intimate / chill vibe. We stopped in on a Sunday evening the bartender was great, offered a bunch of recommendations based on our usual likings and kept checking on us/refilling our waters in a timely manner. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the Lincoln Square area. If you're looking for a good cocktail bar for a date /more intimate setting this is the spot.

I was really looking forward to trying this cocktail bar. However, the experience really fell short. Firstly, I was disappointed that there were only 4 cocktails on the menu and one was not available. I was under the impression that they would be able to offer some sort of alternative, but no. It seemed as if they did not want to get paid. We had planned to have a few drinks and snacks. But once we were finally served we never were spoken to again until we went to the bar to pay. I was bummed to leave after one round. I’m still not sure if we were supposed to order from the bar or if there was supposed to be a server? All around a disappointing time. It really felt like they didn’t want our money.

Sorry excuse for cocktails. It's fine if you want a drink in a club-adjacent bar. Excellent service. Staff are not to be judged. Just not for proper cocktails though. Absolute rubbish menu.

Absolute favorite bar! Maggie’s dealer’s choice cocktails never disappoint! You can describe what flavors or spirits you like and she’ll come up w something delicious every time.

I have enjoyed popping into The Sixth for special occasions over the years. This summer I hosted a private event at The Sixth and it was wonderful. We had a specialty cocktail on deck to serve people quickly when they arrived and then an open bar. the restaurant group they are part of provided a wonderful selection of desserts to rave reviews. It was so fun to introduce a large group to such a special cocktail bar. Wonderful service, excellent drinks, cozy space!
