The Simple Coffee House

Coffee connoisseurs need their lattes, cappuccinos, or other coffee drink made somewhat consistent. The barista Autumn makes the perfect cup of coffee every visit. They usually work Mondays and drinks are made yummylicious and consistent every time without fail! My wish would be that the other barista team members shadow and learn from Autumn. Because there are a lot of inconsistencies between baristas. We have arrived home with coffee drinks that taste bitter and burnt more than a few times and that’s no bueno for this coffee connoisseur. Honest but true, thank you.

We needed a place for an early coffee and was happy it was Simple coffee. Good coffee and pastries. I'll be back to try other things on the lunch menu. Nice interior

What a lovely surprise this morning going into this cozy spot! The latte I am enjoying as I write this, is the best I can remember having. And the breakfast bagel sandwich is bomb!!!! To top it off, they do customer service right here…a far better experience than I’ve ever had at Starbucks!

Best coffee in San Diego

Was looking for a local shop that wasn’t Starbucks and found this gem just north of Lake Murray. A perfect place to go get a latte with a wide variety of food options including sandwiches and traditional pastries. I ended up getting a butter croissant and a white chocolate mocha with almond milk. The mocha was well balanced, just the right amount of sweetness and a touch of bitterness from the espresso. The croissant was buttery and flaky. Both items came out very quickly. There is plenty of indoor seating with tables outside the store as well. Parking is easy as they are located in a shopping area. So happy I found this place and will definitely be back again soon! Dietary restrictions: They carry soy, oat, almond and coconut milk I believe so you have many options for drinks. Parking: Located in shopping area just off the main road so there is plenty of free parking. Easily accessible to the store itself.
