If I could leave a zero I would. First, they're breaking Texas law on 7/14 by adding an automatic gratuity without disclosing it on the menu or on a sign near the entrance. Second, the service is dreadful! It was taking 30 minutes for the waiter to return to the table. Cocktails were empty a long time ago. Water was empty too. This happened TWICE. Third, the manager was hiding in the back for most of the night, oblivious to the dumpster fire in his restaurant. The food is good but not great - the chef is unimaginative for the menu. The cocktails are also good but overpriced for West Texas. I guess because of the automatic gratuity, the server was knowingly lazy, that or he quite possibly is "challenged". I might be sympathetic if he had 10+ tables to wait but he had 4 and that was too many. This bar has great ambiance and location but the owner needs to spend more time here to see how the manager and poor wait service are dragging down his bar. I feel bad for the bartenders and on waitress who appeared competent. They are on a sinking ship that won't last 6 months unless a change is made.

This is such a sad story and I've been really hesitant to write this but I just can't hold back anymore afterour last time here. I used to love this place. I was such a fan but this place has gone down hill since management changed in the fall. I should have taken it as a sign when our regular server up and left that something wasn't going right. Everything that we loved is gone. The fish tacos were some of the best I've ever had, the sliders with the egg yoke, the Silo burger, the scotch eggs, the Mound of fries and finally the steak and fries. All gone or so different they shouldn't be called the same thing. I've been here and handful of times since the change and it's been nothing but dissapointment. When we brought my family in over the holidays they even said something about it. I do have to admit though that I was excited to hear about the chef they were bringing cause I was told he's gonna do some amazing things to the menu but the reality is the kitchen has done nothing but change what we loved. The "new" menu is extensive but is OK at best and have not had anything that was the same as the time before. It's like it's a different flavor each time. I used to crave the food here and now it's not even on our radar. I mean why change the fries? They were perfect how they were with an incredible dipping sauce. Now it's the same breaded fry you can get at Carl's Jr or even Arby's and they serve it with what seems like plain mayo. Yuck! Before it had a nice truffle sauce. It was such a compliment to a night of drinking. The spirits selection is still good but according to my server, that's gonna change as well. Why? My fiance said that her favorite place to drink was here because of the cocktails but they are not the same and the bartenders don't bring the same energy as before. Used to be fun to sit at the bar and chat with them but now it's like we were a burden caused we were trying to have a laugh with them. Maybe that's why the flavors in the drinks don't seem to be as bright. Maybe because it seems so dull in here now the it bleeds into the cocktails. The ambiance is different, the food is different, the cocktails are different and the overall service is completely different. It's like they just don't care anymore. It's really sad cause this place used to be our go to. Now there is nothing around where we live. What happened to make such a drastic change? I hope it comes back to what it was. One of the coolest spots in town. Unfortunately they do have the same server issues as everywhere but the product is incredible. The best selection of spirits in town and one of the owners has the best recommendations for scotch whisky, bourbon, tequila and vodka! If you like spirits for what they are and drink them neat this is for sure the place to go. My girlfriend looooves the crafted cocktails! She's tried them all twice but still no favorite. You also have to have the mahi mahi tacos, they're amazing. Live music on the patio really compliments the perfect El Paso fall weather. Kudos to these guys! Hope the staff shortage ends soon though...for everyone.

This used to be our go-to when family came back to town. Drinks were unique, tasty and hit the spot. And the food had items you couldn’t get elsewhere. (The sliders with the egg yolk were , RIP.) We went just before the holidays, as is our norm, and though a few items remained, Scotch Eggs and Truffle Fries specifically, they were almost inedible. Besides the yolks being inconsistent, ranging from gelatinous to dry and crumbly, the breading seemed like it was made from sawdust. And they need to remove “aioli” as the dipping sauce for the fries and replace with straight up mayo. And why add a breaded crust to the fries when they were so light and perfect before? Drinks were bland in flavor across the board and a place known for a fantastic whisky and scotch selection, we should have known things had gone when we were presented with a high school presentation folder as the “new” menu. I hate to give up on this place but this is strike two for us.
