The Senate Tavern on Bank

EDIT 03/20 - Please being back the cheesecake This place has been my goto meet-up spot the friends for years. It's got a chill atmosphere, decent drinks and good food.

Charged us 43$ for nachos with pork. Yes, 43$. And it was take out so no tip or delivery fee. I actually went back to make it was true. Unreal. The person picking it up the order wasn’t in any way responsible to call them out on it which is why I went back to make sure it was the correct price. I still can’t believe. I also took a look at their menu and didn’t see that it was 10$ to add pulled pork. I was also told by the server that the price on the website is wrong (which indicates 5$ for meat). Used to be our go to place. Buyer beware

Went for a quick bite for lunch and we were happy we did! Awesome sandwich options, nice line up of beer taps and cool environment. Didn't love that the server brought a tablet to the table to order and made next to no eye contact with us, not really service in my opinion.

Wonderful first experience here. As it was a Monday afternoon, it was pretty quiet. Overall the service was friendly and attentive. The food was really good! Shared some nachos first and had a pulled pork sandwich. Nice sized portions and really tasty with a nice bit of kick to it. Decent beer selection as well. Definitely worth another visit.

With short notice for hosting a huge crowd of unknown numbers, ( at least 70) the GM pulled out all the stops to accommodate us. The servers were excellent keeping us hydrated and fed in a very timely manner. I can’t say enough of how amazing was the service at the Senate on Bank. Definitely six stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kid-friendliness: We took my grandson who quickly made friends with another boy and two girls during the Liverpool game. The kids had a blast.

Watched the Liverpool ba Chelsea Carabao cup final, it was amazing to finally go to a pub that offers more niche footy games, Danny and Steve provided outstanding service to our very large party! Will definitely be going back!

Huge respect to the whole team at Senate on Bank! We had a massive group come in to watch a cup final soccer game at 9:45 in the morning in which they had to open their doors early on a Sunday. Special shout-out to the GM Steve who had less than a week to prepare but was incredibly hospitable and accommodating for all of us ensuring that everyone had their own space to enjoy the match. Service was 10/10, me and some friends each got pitchers of the Senate Lager which was the perfect pairing for a soccer match and the food was top notch as well It was a memorable experience for us all and we look forward to watching more Liverpool games at the Senate on Bank.
