The Selkirk Grill is truly in a unique setting. Fine dinning with free 1.5 hour parking.
We came for the Dinner & A Movie: Christmas Vacation. 5 stars for the ambience as it's beautiful and the setup was great. Rachel was the waitress and I'm not sure if she is just inexperienced, for example not remembering to bring us bread right away like all the tables next to us, neglecting to bring our drinks until the second course was served, forgetting to bring us our desserts or fill our waters when we asked for it, and no where to be found when it was time to pay right after the movie. It seemed like all the tables for two that were around us were being given attention but we were an afterthought throughout the entire evening. At the end of the night, there were waitresses running around frantically to pass off credit card machines to each other and barely had checks ready for people (perhaps just my waitress's entire section). I'm not sure this was worth a $115 dinner. I should also add that the quality of the main course, the desert, and the popcorn was dry, hard, and not fresh buttered popcorn. I guess I had expected more.
So quiet and quaint! Best crab cakes ive ever had... service was exceptional!
Good food, good service. The 90 minute parking limit expired before we could enjoy any dessert or coffee.
Terrible cocktails. So so terrible. We were thankful we didn't order food.
Good food. Nice atmosphere. Vegan options.
