Beautiful Sunday lunch. Gets very noisy when busy which is often. Bit overpriced for me to be a regular but can always guarantee nice food. Good range of drinks. No non alcoholic wine last time I asked though. Shame when having a steak as a non drinker. Wheelchair accessibility: Not very good at all for wheelchair accessibility. This hasn't changed in the time it has been open. Very tight in restaurant area. More room in bar but no ramp down to it or door access by wheelchair. No accessible toilet. Access door to restaurant very heavy.
Absolutely 1st class food with good choice combined with excellent table service, nothing too much trouble and all with a smile from Emily our waitress. Will definitely revisit.
The bottom line is you get what you pay for here. It's definitely more expensive than your standard pub fare. But the food is immaculate and the beer is good. Vegetarian options: They have veggie roasts and good veggie options for mains.
Me and the wife have just finished eating our sunday dinner here, Everything on the plate from start to finish was beautiful, Thoroughly enjoyed this as we aren't local to the area. Service staff were extremely prompt and friendly. Will definitely be coming back again.
We come here every month but unfortunately we’ve noticed the food isn’t what it used to be. We were also a little disappointed with the service this time - I have a dairy allergy and rather than offering alternatives I was just met with no you can’t have that, no you can’t have that. It would be so much better if there was a matrix that I could see to identify what I could have. I ended up with a plant based starter which was awful and just tasted of salt! Other family members said the Sunday dinner wasn’t as good as what it had been previously. Won’t be coming again.
