Their Happy Hour is NOT a happy hour (they charged us $24 for two whiskey sours, insisting that it is not a well drink. Babe put shot of whiskey in a glass of sour mix and bam. Done. It’s that easy.) The HH food was mediocre and overpriced. They brought us the wrong food at first because the staff didn’t clarify. Their regular stuff seemed good but I do not recommend the happy hour at all.

This is not a safe place to eat. Do NOT go here if you have allergies - they are unable to identify the ingredients in food properly for their customers. I had to use my Epipen and they showed little care for my well being when I explained to them I was having allergy symptoms after eating their salad and needed more information on their ingredients, which they could not provide. They assured me several times that the chef confirmed my allergen was not in my food before and after I ate my salad. Staff was annoyed when I kept asking for more information. When they finally gave me the ingredient sheet for the meal, my allergen was listed. It took me DAYS to recover from the allergic reaction I had.

Food was fantastic. You will pay for it. Service was great. Ambiance was a little too loud. Love the decor.

This place was a nice joint to step into to take a load off. I wasn't expecting much in the concept of food anyway and got exactly that. The food was OK and so was the service. The atmosphere was a drag. Maybe I was just there on the wrong night or something. Moving along... I'm not sure if it's just me or NYC, but the taste of food has severely declined (at least in most of manhattan). Y'all have absolutely no idea how many restaurants (high-end) my family and I have been to, and my gosh, the food in most of them have been just mediocre. It got so bad that I started apologizing to my loved ones as though I was back there in the kitchen cooking. We started convincing ourselves that it's just because our taste buds are different because it's not what we're used to, but I think that's just what we've decided to tell ourselves to ease the blow of spending over 2-3+ hundred bucks (not to mention a great tip. I tip great even if the food is trash) on food that we'll live to regret before it even gets to digest. I'm appalled. Especially thinking about how so many of these restaurants did not survive covid. This is what we're left with? Restaurants putting in so little care in their establishment and effortlessly cooking with no seasoning? Or adding too much salt because that's the only seasoning they believe exists? Not to mention, the drinks are non-refillable. We can't even have the decency of washing the food down, right. I wish I had a better review, but it was just basic. Thankfully, for this place, their not that category alone. There's plenty of restaurants like them, in the same boat.
