Went here for a Valentine burlesque show and boy what an experience. First of all, the show started at 6:30pm and it didn’t actually start til 8, so don’t hold your breath on it getting started. Second I was sat underneath a vent on a couch to the left of the stage, not a fun experience at all. It was freezing the entire time and although I said something to our server nothing mattered. It definitely took away from the whole experience. Not impressed by their Valentines night show, took way too long and nothing special happened, the magic was okay in my eyes. Couldn’t concentrate cause it was so cold.

Wow! What an outstanding experience. Tucked in the back of a busy Italian restaurant, this speakeasy is an absolute gem. It is romantic and intimate, with a fantastic cocktail list and a nice balance of attentive service without being overbearing. The staff allows you to experience the space without being overbearing or pushy. The food is served from the restaurant and is piping hot and delicious, with a nice balance of flavors. Loved it!

We didn’t order any food but the drinks are good. You can actually test the tequila because sometimes sweet drinks don’t have enough alcohol and the sugar overpowers the drink, but here is the perfect amount of alcohol. Staff were very polite. I love the secret room is very private and romantic Definitely we are coming back

10/10 best place I’ve ever been in LA! If you love speakeasy vibes and craft cocktails, this is the spot for you. Scott is a total mixologist. My husband and I are cocktail lovers and this is the best of the best! Plus the environment is so cozy and retro, absolutely LOVED.

Will definitely be back again. So... don't laugh, but I've never been to a speakeasy. Probably because most of the company I keep can't speak easy. And there are list of rules they hand you to follow so you get the vibe of the place before entering, particularly if you're new. Our host/ wait person was attentive and funny. Always kept us laughing each time he visited our table. That also could've been because we kept forgetting the candle rule. I went with my friend after work on a Wednesday evening and as you can see, she's an emotional eater. Which is fine, because I'm a self-declared foodie and it makes for a wonderful friendship. We order as our starters: sweet potato fries (which is really a side), Brussel sprouts - well season and cooked perfectly and a caprese starter. I don't know how to spell Caprese so deal with it. We both ordered pasta. I forgot the name of her dish but was a rigatoni pasta with sausage and I ordered the house ravioli, spinach and ricotta - in a pink sauce. Delish. Both dishes were delish!!! And filling to say the least. Our drinks you, ask? My friend was looking for something smoky so our waiter suggested Life on Mars and I had a hotty Toddy and an apple tea. I was coating a very rough throat. All in all, highly recommend you visit and enjoy a light conversation with the waiter, Scott. Who's a Scorpio. In case you wanted to know.

Very nice speakeasy bar in burbank! The waiter and service is always incredible The concept and the lights is very good, special instruction on the reservation are respected and it is really nice ! We did not try the food of this bar yet but the italien restaurant at the entrance is really nice ! I recommend if you are searching for an intimate date spot in Burbank!

everything was 6/5 stars. like its hard to explain. The service was impeccable. it felt like we were being shown to the table in a family members home that you haven't visited in years. "we're so glad you're back!" Every time I found myself wanting service, boom there it was. perfect timing every time. the atmosphere!! restaurants full of whispering happy people. tunes from the 30s and 40s playing on a jukebox with a warm glow. a lot of gentle warm glow and candlelight in a dim room. we sat at very comfortable armchairs next to eachother and it was lovely. the cocktails honestly all of them were amazing. respect, life on mars, the spicy tequila drink my husband got first is probably my favorite drink of the night but good lord what a list. there were 8+ more drinks that we wanted to try so we'll have to be back soon... the FOOOOOD i'm a vegetarian and my husband is not. for fancy dates i want to find somewhere he can get a steak and i can also eat well (with options). to my surprise they have a dedicated vegetarian section . we got the bruschetta (delish. 3 pieces) polenta (charred veggies just the way i like them! but i would have preferred slightly more polenta to veggie, but thats my only negative note from the whole thing. your food was delicious and i want more!! but it might be because we hadn't eaten all day) my husband got 1 steak medallion and the eggplant parm (comes with spaghetti). the steak medallion came with a luxardo cherry sauce reduction (one of my favorite flavors of the night.) and perfect mashed potatoes. i cant comment on the steak, but my husband closed his eyes to savor each bite so take that as a good sign. the eggplant parm was flawless. dessert was port wine, brown butter banana cake, and butter pecan ice cream. heaven. Vegetarian options: they have a vegetarian section of the menu and various pastas. you can add chik'n to anything :) Parking: Valet takes cash or venmo 8$. might be able to park in the neighborhood.

EDIT: Leaving my original review below, but after not hearing back from leaving a voicemail, emailing the contact address on the receipt successfully got me a $20 refund for the double tip. I'm still frustrated that I had to fight for this a little, but I am thankful that after consistent effort on my part then the location worked with me. Happy to change my review appropriately. Overall final conclusion: That wasn't ideal, and I hope they change their approach to automatic gratuity in the future (I don't mind it when it's much more clearly marked) but with the atmosphere and service and quality of drinks I would go back. Just an unfun scare there when I first got home. Original Review: An otherwise lovely visit was made quite sour by a cumbersome billing process that included an unclearly marked 20% automatic gratuity - for a party of two getting drinks and appetizers. Accidentally tipped 40% this way since I was in a rush and the location is extremely dark (not terrible but bad for reading the bill) and leaving a voicemail asking to undo it got no reply and a full charge. Just disappointing, I wanted to like this spot but it felt misleading. Though the bartender was very kind the service (a smidge hard to get the bill) did not justify an automatic 20% tip, and was unclearly enough marked that it was very easy to accidentally spend 20% more than it warranted at an already expensive spot.
