The Real Milk & Honey

To say that this place is highly overrated is an understatement. The food was actually pretty good(not exceptional by any means), but that combined with the overall dining experience isn’t even close to being worth the prices that they charge. Ratchet rap music selection, small and uncomfortable chairs, paper on the table for a tablecloth for easy cleanup like a crab house would have, packaged plastic silverware, and salt and pepper packets. SMH. My guest had the crab hash and I had a waffle, eggs, grits, and chicken sausage, which I had to order a la cart, because they were out of french toast, chicken wings, and a few other things. Anyway the bill came to $73. Think I spent $88 after the tip…for breakfast for two! As a guy who works(and eats) all over the entire Metro ATL area, I can easily name 20 breakfast spots off the top of my head with better food, a much better dining experience, and a lot better prices. Won’t be back here any time soon.

My cousin and I spent our monthly breakfast outing here. The waitress was very unfriendly, unwelcoming, not very helpful. She took our order didn't tell anything about the drinks, didn't give us a hand menu, told us to use the barcode. There were other customers that had hand menus. I had to order two different items because my pancake was burnt and doughy. She didn't take it off the receipt she claimed she gave a discount on my second order to make it come out to the price of the second one. I didn't pay someone else did so I'm not sure. My second order was good but the service was still very bad. Not sure if I would go back but I wouldn't recommend this location.

This was my first time visiting this establishment. I like the venue and the food was very good but our service was less that expected. Our waiter didn't really check on us but once. He was sitting down a lot and it was like we weren't important. We had to look for him a few times for assistance like water and napkins. We had to ask another person for a to-go box. This was very disappointing to say the least. I would like to discuss this with the owner or owners further offline.

I brought my significant other here for his birthday. It took a long time for EVERYTHING. Water appetizer and food. I was skeptical about ordering the waffles because I noticed 3 other tables left behind their uneaten waffles. Waffles were doughy the toppings was good. The food was bland the creole sauce,hot sauce and salt help out our fried green tomatoes/whiting meal. The honey butter biscuits were missing the Honey.. they drowned the biscuit in butter sauce out the container.. it didn’t taste like butter or Honey. More like thick oil with butter flavoring

Management and owners are not that professional as we all have seen on social media. Every employee I experienced was uninterested in helping customers, nonchalant, and rude. I know this trickles down from the top. I had to drive all the way to the restaurant to figure out what was going on with a delivery order. After standing at the door for over 10 minutes and knocking while the workers stood inside and looked someone finally came to the door and said they were closed and I would need to cancel the order that I had paid for and waited hours for and ask for a refund only in Atlanta.

Food was ok I had lemon pepper wings with season fries. Birthday dessert was delicious.Server Krissy was great.

Drinks are over priced but the food is delicious. Our wait time wasn’t that bad compared to other spots. They give themselves a $20 service fee for the waiters if you spend over $75 but you bound to spend that much anyway cos it’s expensive. If you come with someone BET on not hearing them cos the music so loud you can barely hear yourself think. I was alright though.
