The atmosphere was very simple for a fine dining restaurant, but it was clean and well lit. The staff was very friendly. They greeted us promptly and were very attentive to our needs. The experience was going fairly well until we received our food. We did not like a single thing that we ordered. The food was very bland. The presentation of the food was nice but there was no seasoning in the food. I couldn't force down more than a sample of each item. Even though we didn't like the food, I was prepared to pay for it and accept the loss. To my surprise, the waitress saw how much we did not enjoy our experience and didn't charge us for the main course. We paid for our drinks and appetizers. I think the food could be exceptional in this place if it was properly seasoned. I can not compliment the staff enough for being exceptionally friendly, professional, and attentive.
This might be the most overlooked restaurant in the city. Everything we had was delicious. Excellent service. Recommend the fried oysters on French toast. Perfectly done not overcooked, oysters with a sauce you will want to lick off the plate. The salads are fresh and artfully paired. The same is true of the perch. Again.. The caper sauce!!!!!! Overall a delightful experience. We'll be back. Vegetarian options: They had a delicious stuffed squash
Wonderful food, service and drinks. I had halibut with mushroom risotto, others in our party had lamb shank and pork chops, all superb!
The Rattlesnake Club is a great standby and an old favorite. Its location makes it better suited for the summer since it's one of the few restaurants close to the river and Aretha Franklin amphitheater. The food is solid, and there's a great variety, so there's something for everyone.
What can I say? Over the years they have not changed as far as excellent service goes Was there for a financial info dinner given by Mark Zayti .
