Ahi Tuna Burger on the bar menu is always a good choice. Their food is worth the price.

Good food and awesome building. However the last 2 times I went the server had mixed our bill with another table and we had to contest the bill which is easier said then done... Server got pretty annoyed at us for some reason because the other table paid our much smaller bill and had already left. Sorry not our problem. Don't take it out on our table.

Just moved to the neighborhood and this became one of my favorites. Great service and the food is excellent. Love the bar area.

Attended as part of a food tour. Really enjoyed the food and the server was very accommodating to my grandson who wanted fries and root beer!

Enjoyed the St Patrick's Day celebration (as I have many times in the past). The corned beef, cabbage, and stew were fantastic!

Quite disappointed in the Rath team yesterday for Pre-St Pattys day partying. The security team and the folks working at each bar and food window were fantastic. REALLY frustrated with the organization of letting people in and out of the facility. We were charged a cover in the middle of the bar, HOURS after being in the place. It was at capacity probably all day, and there was no cover. I don’t appreciate me or any of my friends being yelled at because we didn’t have a stamp or wristband from your team, ESPECIALLY after being in the venue for 2.5+ hours already. It shouldn’t have come as a surprise that it was going to be packed yesterday, therefore there should have been more organization. Everyone gets a stamp and/or wristband at the door when you enter. Not in the middle of the bar. Absolutely disappointed. PLEASE do better next time.

We had an advance reservation for a large group for a birthday meal at Rathskeller in February 2024. Everyone in our party received poor quality food, and service! The meat was the worst part! Most of us couldn’t cut let alone chew the meat, it was extremely tough, and chewy. Our waitress was abrasive, authoritative, and absent for the majority of our experience. She even missed an entire order! Thankfully the restaurant staff were quick to bring refills, extra napkins, and so on when asked. The staff did accommodate us with extra plates, silverware, and a knife for the birthday cake we had brought in. The building itself is gorgeous! Many of the staff members were very friendly, and accommodating. Our waitress lacked professionalism and basic respect. The restrooms are very outdated and probably would not pass city code specifications. The restaurant was very crowded the entire duration of our experience there. For $30.00+ per meal the food is not worth it whatsoever! We are all very disappointed! I’d be embarrassed to serve anyone such poor quality food. I hope they read this review and fix these issues! They have such a beautiful atmosphere, with improved food it’d be a go to place for a complete German dining experience.
