Vegan option are amazing !! We tried the tantanmen and spicy chesnut miso and was so good plus portions are really big
Black garlic ramen gave me an unique experience; very crunchy. Every year I travel back and forth between Ontario and BC to explore ramen shop in the Vancouver area, this has to be one of the worst ramen I had. Despite its crunchy, it's also super salty and the noodles is definitely not Japanese ramen noodle, has to be some Chinese noodle.
Unique and special Ramen takes you outside the ordinary! Special broths not commonly found with ingredients such as orange miso, yuzu etc. Such a great find and a must try for Ramen lovers.
I visit Japan regularly. This is the best ramen in North America, possibly the world.
My noodles and char siu were lukewarm when served and turned cold before I finished. The broth was barely hot enough. I’ve never experienced this, having eaten at Ramen Butcher numerous times. Eating ramen is my happy place and has never caused disappointment, until this time. I was there 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Maybe the broth or the noodles weren’t heated enough. In any case not my problem.
If you close at 10pm, stop turning people away at 9:30pm
I had the Spicy Sesame Tantan Tsukemen n the Matcha Vegetable Gyoza with tea. Everything was great n I enjoyed my first experience here. I would like to say that if they have a vegetable broth that's vegan, might I suggest that they offer this for every dish that they offer, but have customers ask for it to be made vegetarian or vegan?? Doing this instead of having a separate vegan menu might make more sense. But then again, IDK what the reasoning is behind having a separate menu like this. But then I'm not in this business as a restauranteur n owner. Only you know why you made up the menu like this. Anyhow, the food was delicious n once again my eyes were bigger than my stomach Vegetarian options: Not much to say other than they've got them n that they have a separate vegan menu
